We are so happy to welcome everyone back to our kura for a brand-new year of learning and growth. We hope that you and your whånau are safe and well following the recent weather event. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected or continue to be impacted in any way. As always, our school community stands together — please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s any way we can provide support. We know that times like these can be challenging, and we want to remind everyone that we are here for each other. The start of the year is a time for new beginnings, new goals, and new friendships. It’s a chance to try our best, support one another, and enjoy learning together. This year will be full of lots of learning, loads of fun, and heaps of kindness. Most importantly, it will be a year where everyone feels safe, valued, and included. Our mantra for 2026 is:Because we care – Nā te mea manaaki anō tātou. This means: We care for our whānau and our friends, helping each other and showing aroha We care for our whenua and our environment, looking after the places we learn and play We care for our school and our belongings, taking pride and showing PRIDE  in our kura We care for our people, using kind words and kind actions We hope that you and your families are safe and well following the recent weather event. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected or continue to be impacted in any way.
